Templates and generators

These tools turn a short form into a finished document: an invoice for a client, an estimate before a job, a receipt after payment, or a resume for a job application. You see the page change as you type, and the download is a PDF with real text. What you type stays in your browser, and nothing is sent to a server.

Templates and generators

Which template do I need?

Send an estimate or quote before the work starts, so the client can agree to a price. Send an invoice once the work is done or the goods ship, to ask for payment. Give a receipt after you have been paid, as proof of payment. A proforma invoice is a preview of an invoice, often used for customs or prepayment.

Where are my details saved?

In your own browser, using its local storage. Your business details, logo, saved clients and the current draft come back the next time you open the tool on the same device and browser. Nothing goes to a server, so clearing your browser data removes them. Keep the PDFs you send.

Are these documents legally valid?

An invoice or receipt is a business record, and its content matters more than the tool that made it. Tax offices such as HMRC in the UK publish what an invoice must show, such as your details, the date, a unique number and the tax charged. Each tool page links to an official list for its document.

Can I edit a document after downloading it?

The PDF itself is final, which is what a client should receive. To change something, open the tool again: your last draft is still there in the same browser, or open the copy you saved with Save a copy. Fix the detail and download a new PDF, with the same number if it replaces the old one.
