Using the tools

The tools are free for personal and business use. Use them only on files you own or have permission to change. The Unlock PDF tool removes passwords you already know; do not use any tool to get around protection on files you have no right to open.

No warranty

The tools are offered as they are, without any guarantee. They are tested carefully, but PDF files vary a great deal and a result can differ from what you expect. Always keep your original file and check the output before you rely on it, especially for legal, medical or financial documents.
