How do I make a to-do list?

Type each task on its own line, pressing Enter for the next, and group them into sections such as Work and Home. Mark the ones that matter most with an A, the next with B, and the rest with C. Tick tasks off as you finish them, and print the list or keep it open on screen.

  1. Pick a layout: checklist, daily or weekly.
  2. Type your tasks; press Enter for the next one.
  3. Set an A, B or C priority and a due note where needed.
  4. Tick tasks off as you finish them.
  5. Download the PDF to print, or start a new list with what is left.

What is the ABC method for to-do lists?

It is a way to rank tasks by importance, popularized by Alan Lakein in 1973 as Wikipedia's entry on time management describes. A tasks matter most, B tasks next and C tasks least. Work through the A tasks first. Here you can set the letter on each task and print the list with A tasks at the top.

What goes on a daily planner page?

The daily layout puts your top three tasks for the day first, then your full task list and notes, with an hourly schedule beside them for meetings and blocks of time. Set the hours to match your day, such as 7 AM to 8 PM. Leave parts empty and they print as lines to write on by hand.
