How do I convert a file to PDF?
Press Choose a file, or drop it on the box. The converter recognizes the type, such as a Word document, a photo or an ebook, and shows the tool it will use. Press Continue: that tool opens with your file already added, so you only set the page size or other options and download the PDF.

How do I convert a PDF to Word, Excel or JPG?

Is it safe to use an online PDF converter?

This one does not: every converter on this site runs in your browser, and the file is passed from the converter page to the tool through your browser's own storage, then deleted. You can check by turning off Wi-Fi before converting.

Limits and fixes
- Old .doc and .ppt files from Office 97 to 2003 need saving in the newer .docx or .pptx format first.
- Locked PDFs need their password removed first with Unlock PDF.
- Private browsing can block the handover between pages; then choose the file again on the tool's page.
