How do I rearrange pages in a PDF?

Choose your PDF and every page appears as a card. Drag a card to its new place, or use the arrow buttons on it. Keep going until the order is right, then press Save PDF. The new PDF has the pages in exactly the order of the cards, and the original file stays unchanged on your device.

  1. Press Choose a PDF.
  2. Drag pages into order. On a phone, press and hold a page until it lifts, then drag it, or tap the arrow buttons.
  3. To move several pages, tap them (or press Odd, Even, or type a range like 1-3, 8), type the page number in Move to page and press Move.
  4. Use the buttons on a page to turn ⟳, copy ⧉, delete ✕ or add a blank page after it.
  5. Optional: Reverse order flips the whole document; + Insert PDF adds pages from another file.
  6. Press Save PDF, then Download.

How do I add a blank page to a PDF?

Press the blank page button on the page you want it to follow, or + Blank page in the toolbar to add one at the end. The new page takes the size and direction of the page before it, so it fits in when printed. Blank pages help when a document must start chapters on a right-hand page.

How do I reverse the page order of a PDF?

Press Reverse order and the last page becomes the first. This fixes scans fed into a scanner back to front, and PDFs printed in reverse order. Check the page cards, press Undo if it was not what you wanted, then save.

Does organizing pages change the file size?

Hardly at all. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so moving them around keeps the file the same size, and blank pages add almost nothing. Removing pages with photos makes the file smaller. If it is still too large to send, run it through Compress PDF afterward, which shrinks the images inside.

Can I combine pages from two PDFs in a new order?

Yes. Press + Insert PDF and pick another file; its pages join the end of the list with a different colored label, and you can drag them anywhere between the first file's pages. For joining whole files without rearranging single pages, Merge PDF is quicker.

Limits and fixes

  • Bookmarks are not kept in the saved file.
  • Copied pages with form fields share their field values with the original page, because PDF forms link fields by name.
  • Very long PDFs on phones can be slow to show all thumbnails; they load as you scroll.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.

Frequently asked questions

Can I move several pages at once?

Yes. Tap the pages to pick them, or select odd pages, even pages or a range like 5-9. Then type a page number in Move to page and press Move: the picked pages land there together, in their current order. The same bar turns, copies or deletes them.

Is organizing different from merging?

Merging joins whole files. Organizing works on single pages, and can include pages from more than one file.

Does it reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly, with no compression.

Can I delete pages here too?

Yes, with the ✕ button on each page, or pick several pages and press Delete. For removing blank scans, Delete PDF Pages has extra options.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The new PDF is built in your browser on your device.
