How do I crop a PDF?

Press Choose a PDF. A box appears on the first page; drag its edges or corners, or type the margins. Keep Apply to on All pages, or pick This page only, odd or even pages. Press Crop PDF, then Download. Use the page buttons to check other pages before saving.

1. Press Choose a PDF.
2. Drag the crop box, or type Top, Bottom, Left and Right.
3. Pick Apply to.
4. Press Crop PDF, then Download.

How do I remove white margins from a PDF?

Press Trim every page. The tool draws each page small, finds where the text and images start and end, and crops to that with a little space around it. In our build test it found 28.2 mm top and 25.4 mm left margins on a page with a dark scanner edge, matching how it was drawn.

Is the cropped part deleted?

Not by default. PDF cropping sets which part of the page is shown, using the crop box of the page, so the cut-off part stays in the file and the crop can be undone in a PDF editor. To remove it for good, for example before sharing, tick Remove hidden part for good; pages are then saved as images.

Will the page size change?

The visible page gets smaller, and readers use that size to show and print it. Some printing software looks at a different page size stored in the file; tick Change page size for printers. To put the cropped pages back on standard paper, run the result through Resize PDF.
